Consultancy

Nicholas Comfort’s background in political journalism, Whitehall, lobbying and the defence industry, and his specialist interest in transport has led a number of consultancy firms to use his expertise, some above the radar and others below.

Most recently I have been an associate with Newington Communications, particularly in association with their transport business.

Other clients have included potential bidders to operate the Berlin S-Bahn and the Amsterdam metro, a potential tenderer for a light rail system in Quebec City and a potential bidder for a nuclear power station in the Netherlands. He has also been an advisor on presentation to the Association of Train Operating Companies, and on government and security for Unisys.
